Right at Home Housing Society is building new affordable townhouse style homes on the Kiniski Gardens former surplus school site, which the City of Edmonton has identified for residential development. Following a competitive proposal process, we were selected to build much-needed affordable housing.

The location offers strong connections to schools, parks, transit, and other neighbourhood amenities, making it a well suited location to welcome more housing. Repurposing this surplus school site provides an opportunity to respond to today’s housing needs while fitting into the surrounding neighbourhood.

In April 2026, we were issued our development permit (City File # 643163021-002) and are excited to move this project forward!
