Unique Design in Eastwood

Eastwood North features 5 four-bedroom units with 5 one-bedroom units in a stacked row housing design. The design allows for ample opportunity for aging teens-into-adulthood to gain independence from the family housing units, while remaining close by. Alternatively, grandparents can live in close proximity to grandchildren. The interactive community within the building is beneficial to both individuals and families experiencing low-income.

Ending Homelessness

The building was developed in 2009 in response to the Edmonton Community Plan on Homelessness, calling for 1600 affordable housing units to be built in order to prioritize long-term supportive housing
