Our online newsletter is available to our supporters who wish to read updated information about the work we’ve accomplished these past months. The newsletter highlights our North Glenora project completion as well as our plans to develop in Beacon Heights. Read further about Jessica Quintal, a long-term tenant who is grateful for Right at Home’s ability to accommodate her growing family’s needs.

In addition, we ask for you to consider supporting our efforts this holiday season. The staff here at Right At Home are grateful to have safe homes where we can spend the holidays. However, we are also conscious that for thousands of Edmontonians, there is a long wait for the comfort of a home. While particularly poignant during the holidays, the lack of affordable homes in our city is a year round reality for many.

At Right at Home Housing Society, an applicant can wait up to four years for an affordable and suitable place to call home. Many of these applicants have two or more children. At this time, these families are facing the holidays in unsafe or unhealthy environments. These families may be expecting to be in the same difficult situation next holiday season. Our most recent data shows that 140 families and 120 individuals who are facing homelessness are waiting for our housing options to become available to them.

This holiday season, we invite you to join us and make a difference by supporting the dream of an affordable home for more people.

We are well positioned to add new projects to our organization in 2018. These projects will result in 125 new units that will provide homes to more than 350 people, including at least 200 children. With your generous gift, we can move forward to build these projects.
